National HIV Testing Week starts on Saturday 16 November and there’s no better time to get tested and know your status.

It’s estimated that around one in twelve people living with HIV don’t know they have the virus. Which means they’re not accessing the support available or the treatment they need to look after their health and prevent HIV being passed on to anyone else.

Remember – anyone diagnosed with HIV in the UK can access free treatment and support.

In Lewisham, you can access an outreach event on:

Monday 18 November, 12.30-2.30pm, Lewisham College, Main Foyer – Lewisham Way, SE4 1UT

Thursday 21 November, 11-4pm, Lewisham Library, Lewisham High Street, SE13 6LG

The testing is rapid fingerpick testing so the total time it takes (including pre and post-test counselling) is 20-30 minutes.
