Samantha Jones – Paramedic Practitioner
I’m Sam, I joined the London ambulance service 12 years ago and qualified as a Paramedic. I have a background in media and have worked in radio, tv and film. I have been part of the bank paramedics for the home visiting team since the end of 2019. When I don’t have my paramedic hat on, I teach first aid and have done for over 20 years. I’m passionate about pre-hospital care and believe that everyone should learn life saving skills. I’m also an aromatherapist, qualifying 21 years ago. I have 2 children (although not so children now – 23 and 15 years old). Looking forward to joining the team and meeting everyone.

My professional background includes 16 years NHS service as a senior MSK physiotherapist, as well as over 10 years working in professional football firstly alongside an NHS role, then transitioning into a full-time role between 2018-20.

I now continue to work locally, part time with the Charlton Athletic 1st team, and also work in private practice. I will be working 2 days a week in this new role, and can’t wait to get stuck into this exciting position.
