One Health Lewisham’s GP Fellows 2021-23
We are currently recruiting for our next cohort of GP fellows.
Please see our OHL Opportunities page for more details (click here)
Fellowship background
The NHS Five Year Forward View gave a target of 250 GP Fellowships by 2020. Since then GP workforce retention has been high on the NHSE agenda and as such there have been a proliferation of fellowship roles nationally. One Health Lewisham (OHL) has also been supporting GP workforce retention in primary care in Lewisham through fellowships, having successfully had its first cohort of fellows in 2019. Our aim is to recruit four GP fellowships across the borough and attract those with a range of needs for flexible working (portfolio GPs, newly or recently qualified GPs, and parents). The roles will provide flexible, clinical working across practices and local leadership and teaching roles.
GP Fellow Leads
Margaret Senbanjo
Hi, I’m Margaret I am a joint clinical lead for Clinical Effectiveness Group (CEG) alongside Grace. Hopefully some of you will already know who I am as I was a GP Fellow with OHL last year and predominantly helped with the development of CEG, the OHL Covid response and did clinical work in GPEA and the hot hubs. I completed my GP training in Lewisham last year and am a salaried GP at Sydenham Green. Outside of work (and during lockdown) I enjoy cooking, cycling and seeing friends.
